Screw rolling steel balls production line

Brief Introduction

Dia25mm – 40mm screw rolling steel grinding balls production line is used to produce steel balls 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 40mm with different composition. The surface hardness of the produced balls can achieve over 60 degrees. Widely used in mines, power station and construction industry. Produced steel balls has no de-shaped, no chamfer, and good quality.

The rotary cutting steel ball start at ’50-’60s, our country imported from Russia equipment and technology. In the 1970s, the whole spinning steel ball process was eliminated, mainly because the raw materials of steel-making technology could not meet the requirements of wear resistance and heat treatment process.

After 2000, the research and development of the raw materials and heat treatment of the rotary cutting process began in China. The rotary cutting process has the advantages of high productivity & high comprehensive benefit of wear comparability and so on.

Producing process

First put the round steel bars on the feeding supporter and then the induction furnace heats the round steel bars in the certain temperature. Afterwards, screwing the balls continuously. The formed steel balls go into the water quenching unit to quench for some time. Then the balls go to the temperature preserving box. Until now, the whole producing process is finished.
